At the start of this month I sold a bunch of equipment to a friend in Korea and in the process I sold the following things to him:
1 Win7 64bit machine
1 XBOX360
1 PC
3 Fucking IR Receivers
3 Televisions (2 old SD and 1 HD)
A Weighing scale
A Pricey wireless mouse
A Big gigantic 300gb Harddrive with tons of porn on it
And a lot of internal cables
I had been planning on putting all this on EBAY so I could make a bit of money but when I was sorting it all out I realised that the computer I was using to transfer everything to him was a cheap PC that doesnt really work anymore. I had a grand total of a grand total of 2 days to get the items to him and it was almost 3 weeks ago now and its still sitting in his garage in the sweltering heat of Seoul, South Korea. I dont have a package address yet. He will just leave it there until I collect it when I come over for the holidays.
The hardest part was just transferring all the porn. Luckily he had a 110gb usb harddrive he was using to store his porn so I had plenty of room to move all the files in a week or two.
In the end I ended up selling all his equipment to a guy who was working in a computer store on the top floor of a shopping centre in South Korea. It was this guy who I knew at uni and had worked with in the past but hadnt worked with for a while.
He bought everything in 3 days, and took the hell out of it so it was a bit of a sprint to get it all boxed up and shipped to him. I ended up giving him most of my harddrive but he didnt want it so it got sold for a bit of money.
I will get my stuff back over the holidays. It was a bit of a pain because I didnt realise I was leaving the country for 2 months so I didnt actually get paid for my holiday the moment I finished working on the sale.
